All statistics produced are calling for a rise in tourism for 2011! As interim innkeepers, this is good news because if the innkeeper is busier, they are making more money and if they are making more money, they are more likely to go on vacation, which means they are more likely to hire you! 

2011 started off with the PAII annual conference which was in Charleston SC on January 17-19, 2011. Eight of our members braved bad weather to attend  the trade show and manned the IIN booth. We all felt that this was the first time that innkeepers actually recognized IIN. Keeping a consistent presence is what is needed. The 2012 PAII Conference will be in Little Rock Arkansas. Start saving your pennies!

I see 2011 as a year of transition and a year of new beginnings. Put yourself in front of the innkeepers any way you can because there is a rebound coming and we want them to know about us.
